About Us

CAROLINE

Caroline is a self-proclaimed dork & thoroughly enjoys stupid jokes and bad puns. She is a cute dress connoisseur. Caroline shot film for four years before she picked up a digital camera & developed a passion for photojournalism thanks to a short-lived gig at the University newspaper. She loves weddings because she enjoys being around people in love & telling their story together.

BEN

Ben was born in Bastrop, TX and was raised in the house he was born. He always has a smile on his face & Caroline is a sucker for his big blue eyes. He is a geek and is always up to date on the newest technology which was one of the reasons he started taking pictures. He loves weddings because he loves interacting with people and capturing moments in new and creative ways.

CAROLINE PLUS BEN

Austin wedding photographers Caroline + Ben are a soon to be husband & wife team that fell in love in photography school. They were once individually known as Sweet Caroline Photo & Ben Godkin Photo and after 3 years of being in business apart they decided to join forces to create Caroline plus Ben Photography. They love their home base in Austin but were bit by the travel bug in Italy in 2007 when they met.

Caroline + Ben love traveling, Torchy’s tacos, & a good glass of champagne. They both have degrees in fine art photography from Texas State. Caroline + Ben met in Florence, Italy on a study abroad trip. They have 2 cats that they adore, named Pixel & Meat.
