Santa Cruz, CA Wedding | Suzanne + Justin

When Suzanne & Justin first contacted us about their wedding in California we were actually unavailable on their chosen date. It was a real bummer considering we had photographed Suzanne's brother's wedding about 3 years earlier... Luckily through a series of events, their date had changed to a date we were available and they had changed their venue to Pie Ranch near Santa Cruz, California. This wedding was not to be missed! It was such a blast and the cool weather was a nice change for us Texas photographers! The day was simply magical. After a slight change in the schedule due to some guest shuttles getting stuck in traffic, we decided on the spot to do a first look to relieve some of the pressure and get the schedule back on track. Some of our best photos came from the first look and the lighting during the ceremony could not have been any better! :) The food at Pie Ranch was absolutely phenomenal, not to mention, local and fresh off the farm! The night continued in the barn where DJ Dojah keep the party hop'n and it ended with an after party at Hotel Costanoa. Suzanne & Justin are avid surfers in California and they had discussed taking their stand up paddle boards out on Half Moon Bay and taking some photos with their Go Pro's. We insisted that we tag along to capture them in their element with their wedding attire on and it was the perfect ending to their wedding weekend!
