Austin Wedding Photography: Party Booth

Last week I had the pleasure to work with another Austin wedding photographer, Arol of AJH Photography. I ran the  Party Booth at his client’s wedding in Conroe, Texas. I had a great time getting people pumped up for their 15 seconds of fame in front of the camera. We had all kinds of props to play with which made for quite an interesting night at the reception.

I prefer this set-up over the physical “Photo-Booth”, which has its limits… Some of the best moments I captured were the in-between moments when people were getting ready to pose. These candid shots can only be achieved if you have a real photographer operating the booth rather than a point & shoot camera on a 3 second count down…

Austin Engagement Photography: Ryan & Rachel

Last week I had another great engagement session with a wonderful couple in downtown Austin. Ryan and Rachel are getting married on April 3rd at The Shoreline Grill in downtown Austin. I had a great time wondering around the streets of Austin, capturing some beautiful moments between the two lovebirds. I can’t wait for the wedding! I am actually going to be interviewing the two in an upcoming blog feature… stay tuned to find out more about this couple.
