Becky & Steven were such a sweet couple and very easy to shoot. Steven had some good ideas for photos and Becky had an awesome smile- I couldn’t ask for more
We just walked around the Palmer event center/long center/auditorium shores area, one of my favorite places to shoot. Can’t wait for the wedding on September 13th!

As I mentioned in the previous post, Ben & I couldn’t resist shooting a session on the beach. So…I must explain how Ben & I found such an model. Our neighbors here in Bucerias from Canada took us out to play pool one night, and as we were discussing that we needed to find a model, Sandi (being very outgoing) asked if there was anyone there that we would be interested in shooting… and that’s how we found Renata. Her boyfriend John was from Texas as well so we got along quite well– did I mention Renata is from Lithuania? (which I find very awesome!).
John took us to an awesome area he knew of in Puerto Vallarta, the lighting worked out perfectly and after having dinner on the beach we went out one more time to get some sunset shots. It’s harder to shoot on the beach than I thought honestly- getting from rock to rock through the water with a camera is quite difficult. We were all very sandy, salty, and sweaty after wards. I would totally do it again though of course

||We have had an amazing time in Mexico so far. We came here to relax but could not resist the temptation to take advantage of this beautiful location. My cousin let me borrow one of her extra wedding dresses to use in Mexico (more from her Bridal and Trash the Dress session in a couple weeks). We didn’t really have a plan in place when we got to Bucerias but we knew we could find someone to model for us. While visiting a local bar with our neighbors we noticed a girl that looked like she would fit the dress perfectly… soooo we went up and asked her if she would like to model for us. Turns out her boyfriend is from New Braunfels, not to far from where I went to College in San Marcos. It could not have worked out more perfectly. John and Renata were kind enough to take us around Puerto Vallarta to some beautiful locations on the beach. I got a little sunburned and me feet got a little cut up walking around on the rocks but it was totally worth it!

||I am currently in Mexico with my wonderful boyfriend and we could not resist but to get someone to model for us on the beautiful Bucerias beach in a wedding dress. So we met a friend of a friend (of a friend, of a friend), Renata, that looked like she would fit the dress we had perfectly (yes we brought a wedding dress to Mexico) and she really did. More to come of course as soon as I get back to my home computer!
