Brandi.was.awesome.
Being a former cheerleader, she was able to hold a stunning smile the whole time without it phasing her a bit, not to mention she looked amazing. It was incredibly hot outside though, so we decided to stay inside for as long as we could- we found places in the capitol building that I didn’t know existed. My favorite quote from the shoot:
me-”Do you want me to get the white sheet to keep your dress from getting dirty”
Brandi- “No, I’m a Texas girl.”…. Love it!

Experimenting with the new pocket wizards, flexTT5 and the miniTT1, it was a little tricky with those huge concrete walls, but it worked!
I should have asked the guards to arrest her!

This video was made with the Canon 5d MarkII. I was the ONLY photographer covering this event and I shot both the Video and Photography, that’s why all the video is on a tripod. Hard work, but I love it!
Grace and Steven have been together for many years now, and decided to tie the knot on April 17th 2009 in San Marcos at the Crystal River Inn. Here are some of my favorite pics from this very small but intimate wedding.

||Last week I had the pleasure to shoot Jessica and Michael’s engagement photos in Galveston, Texas. We had a great time on the mini-golf course down on the Seawall. They are getting married on August 8th, 2009 in Crosby, Texas. I can’t wait for the wedding, they are so much fun!
